The Lord of the Rings trilogy helped me fall in love with movies again.  I greatly enjoy action and adventure - not so much of a 'girly' movie fan.   I like documentaries and historical fact and fiction themes as well.  I always find science fascinating and can become absorbed in anything exploratory with the life or physical sciences.  

Billy's acting is a given favorite - I've tried to become familiar with what he has done over time and hope to follow his future work as well.

I vastly enjoyed the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy as well - other favorites over time are Grease, Kelly's Heroes and Practical Magic (will concede, however, that PM is an exception to the 'girly' movie theme). 
I also find more recent things such as Wild Hogs and Tropic Thunder insanely funny. 

I watched Lost the first and last year it has been on TV - in that order.  Real life intervened in the interim.  Consequently, I have become interested in Flash Forward just this first season.  Otherwise, I ordinarily watch little network television routinely.  I do like home and garden stuff, History and Discovery channel presentations, and the occassional favorite movie as I catch it on TNT or other movie channels. 

If I am home during 'working hours' I find the real life court television dramas interesting - they can leave me feeling quite normal.  Enjoy some late night television sometimes between Leno and Craig Ferguson and their various guests.
